As a maker, and DIY’er I relish rainy days, because this gives me a guilt-free day of creating.
You don’t have to be a pro to tackle these projects, plus, these are fun activities to do with your kids or bored teens.
Create a Vision Board
This is great for students and people who want a visual way to plan the future and set goals and intentions. You will need bristle board, markers, pens, magazines, or a printer.
- Start by writing down your goals for the year, or near future.
- Print off pictures from the internet, or cut out photos from a magazine, and make a collage.
- You can decorate as you wish, and don’t forget to add some motivational words to keep you inspired.
- Place the board somewhere you can see it each day.

Canva also has printable vision board templates, but I think it’s more fun to create it by hand.
Make Your Own Body Products

Nothing is more fun than making your own bath and body products.
